Dear Friend, This year marks the 15th anniversary of our School and 35 seasons of Company performances. In my 15 years working with Malashock Dance I have had the great honor to interact with our community and work with the most inspiring people imaginable. I love seeing our students, audiences, staff, and artists light up when they feel connected through the art form of dance. Our school had a record year for enrollment and attendance, offering over 1500 classes to our community! We sold out all of our performances of Every Day Dances II at both the Mingei International Museum and at our studio theater in Dorothea Laub Dance Place, and we launched three new collaborative outreach programs and a new partnership with the Visual and Performing Arts department of San Diego Unified School District. Your support, involvement, and generosity made this happen! At Malashock Dance, we are committed to creating a space where dance is accessible to EVERYONE. Through our School, Company, and Outreach programs we ensure everyone has the opportunity to make meaningful connections, feel a sense of belonging, and ignite their passion.
