Dear Friend, A little less than one year ago, I was welcomed back into the Malashock Dance community as its new Artistic Director. It was truly a homecoming, as I began my career as a dancer with the company back in 1995. While there is much more for me to learn, many more people for me to meet, and loads of exciting work to do - I’m so happy to be on the other side of a smooth leadership transition with my friend and colleague John Malashock. I'm thrilled to be working side-by-side with an incredible staff in support of our mission, deepening existing programs and expanding the organization with new ideas. In this newsletter alone, there are four new programs that we are launching in service of our community. None of this work as possible without your contributions. It’s with great excitement for the future and humility in the service work that we do for artists, students and their families, that I ask for your financial support during San Diego Gives. Your contributions directly and meaningfully impact our ability to produce programs. I hope you’ll support Malashock Dance with a gift at this time. Grateful for all the way that you are part of our community, Christoper K. Morgan, Artistic Director |
