Dear Friends,

I am thrilled to share the excitement surrounding our upcoming performance of SEED, a powerful production that embodies transformation, resilience, and growth. SEED is a testament to the ways dance can express the deeply personal while connecting us all through shared human experiences. With six incredible works by different choreographers, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this show!

At Malashock Dance, we are passionate about creating opportunities for diverse dance artists to thrive. Our arts ecosystem is strongest when it includes voices from a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. Equity in the arts is not just an ideal—it is a necessity. We are committed to fostering an environment where artists from all walks of life can contribute, create, and be seen. This commitment is reflected in SEED, both in its themes and in the incredible artists bringing it to life.

I invite you to join us for this production, to witness the power of movement, and to celebrate the impact of inclusive, meaningful artistry. By attending shows, you are doing your part to support the arts during a challenging time.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support helps us continue providing a platform where dance belongs to everyone.

With Gratitude,

Molly Puryear, Executive Director
