Dear Friends,

Wow! THE BRIDGE was quite a smashing success. It was a transformative artistic endeavor to create and collaborate with Tristian Griffin, and our dancers were absolutely amazing. I want to thank all of you who attended and especially those of you who took time to share your thoughts about how the work affected you. If you didn't get to see it in person, now's your chance. The show is now available for online streaming, and I know you'll really enjoy it.

And...THE BRIDGE will live on! We are taking excerpts of it to the Newport Dance Festival in Rhode Island in July, and are working with presenters in the Midwest to tour the show in Spring 2022.

Meanwhile, lots of other exciting new projects are brewing for next season.

Yours,

John Malashock, Artistic Director

Dear Friend,

What an incredible close to our 2020 -2021 Season...presenting THE BRIDGE to live audiences felt like a joyous return to sharing dance with live audiences, our youth students at our School Showcase were inspiring, and working closely with our community to make sure we return to a strong arts ecosystem has been both challenging and invigorating. After so much uncertainty, we are sure of one thing...dance is back and its thriving in San Diego. We have done an incredible amount of learning, adapting, and persevering and are poised to return to a full season of in-person classes, events, performances. New programmatic offerings that benefit our community and align with our mission are in the works and we can't wait to share them with you. We can do it all...but we need your support. We close our fiscal year on June 30th, and I hope you will consider making a donation to show your support and help us start our new season on the right foot!

Warmly,

Molly Glynn Puryear, Executive Director
